Up to two months' service fee rebate when subscribing to a designated “HKT Smart Assistance” service plan.
*The service is only available to consumer customers residing at designated area in Hong Kong. Customers must be a valid member of HKT Online Shop at www.hktshop.com. The service covers eligible appliances contained in the premises, including designated television, air-conditioner, washing machine, clothes dryer and refrigerator. At the time when a customer makes a maintenance request, the product must have been purchased from HK’s authorised dealer within five years from the manufacturer of the equipment and must meet our other designated requirements. The number of repairs is not limited, given that the total repair amount for the same appliance cannot exceed 80% of the original purchase price of the relevant appliance; and the total repair amount for all your appliances at the premises is limited to HK$50,000 per year under the contract. For each appliance under each HKT Smart Assistance contract, the maintenance service period shall commence on the expiry of the waiting period for maintenance service or the expiry of the manufacturer's original warranty of the appliance, whichever is the later. The service is subject to a minimum of 12 months' commitment period. After the initial 12-month commitment period, the service and the contract will be automatically renewed on an annual basis with a new 12-month commitment period for each year through the payment of the monthly service fee, unless the customer terminates the service prior to the expiry of the relevant commitment period in accordance with the terms of the contract. The service is subject to its terms and conditions. <Monthly service fee does not include delivery charge for buildings without lift and Tung Chung additional outlying area charge. An administrative fee will be charged if no appliance failure is found after on-site visit. If the service or the contract is terminated during any commitment period for whatever reason, you will be liable to pay an early termination charge. #Customer must provide the relevant proof of purchase of the appliance when making a maintenance service request. ^One inspection per year will be provided to a household of ≤400 sq. ft. Two inspections per year will be provided to a household of >400 sq. ft. If an eligible appliance cannot be repaired, a designated online HKT voucher worth HK$2,000 will be given to eligible customer. The use of the voucher is subject to terms and conditions. Fee is for reference only. Final charge will vary according to supplier and vendor.
